In a world obsessed with the new and the pristine, a well-worn luxury watch is a powerful statement about the beauty of continuity and the value of history. It is a personal artifact that connects the wearer not just to the watchmakers of the past, but to their own past, and to a future they may never see.
For some, the simple telling of hours, minutes, and seconds is merely the starting point. The pinnacle of watchmaking is found in "complications"—additional functions that push the boundaries of mechanical physics and human ingenuity. These are the horological equivalents of climbing Everest.
